Welcome to the Telluride Academy online registration system! 

 

All adult applicants, and one custodial parent or legal guardian of each minor applicant under age of 18, must complete this registration and sign the legally binding “Telluride Academy: Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risks & Release and Indemnity Agreement” (the “Document”). Although your child may be with you while you complete their registration, TA needs you, as the legally responsible adult, to complete this registration and sign the Document at the end of Step 7.

 

Before beginning your registration, please review TA’s Covid Protocols, located on our website at www.tellurideacademy.org, to understand what policies TA will have in place in order to run its programs this summer.

NOTE: Summer 2022 and COVID-19! 

COVID-19 is an evolving situation, and there's no way to tell exactly what policies will be in place this summer. Our policies are subject to change at any time, aligning with the San Miguel Public Health mandates. 

 

In Summer 2021, Telluride Academy had a mandatory mask policy indoors and in vans, as well as daily symptom checks. We are going into this summer assuming something similar.

At minimum, we will follow all protocols that our state, county, and the CDHS put in place. We reserve the right to put stricter policies in place if we feel it is necessary to keep our students and staff safe. Policies could be different whether students are vaccinated or unvaccinated. This will be based on recommendations from the CDC, San Miguel County Public Health or the Colorado Department of Health and Safety. 

 

We will require testing for all Expedition Academy programming. This is an evolving situation, and we will work to get more details on this requirement to families in the Spring. 

Parents or guardians must be available to pick up any camper that exhibits COVID-19 symptoms or tests positive for COVID-19.

If any camper or family refuses to comply with our COVID protocols such as mask mandates or testing requirements, they will be asked to leave camp and tuition will not be refunded. 


Before your camper arrives at camp, we will communicate more details on our COVID-19 related policies. We expect parents and campers to share in the commitment to adhere to COVID-19 policies – including risk management and safety practices - both at home and at camp.  You and your camper must be open and willing to attend camp in these circumstances. Refund Policy:

For Summer Programs: When you register, you must pay a non-refundable 25% deposit as well as a $40 annual registration fee per applicant. If you cancel you or your child’s participation for any reason at any time, TA will NOT refund your 25% deposit or your $40 registration fee. Full tuition and all required paperwork is due no later than May 16, 2022.  If you cancel before May 16, 2022, TA will issue you a refund less the deposit and registration fee.  TA will not provide any refund for cancellations after that date. Any registration that occurs after this time will require payment in full and all required paperwork before registration is considered complete.
