Challenge Level:

Jump into the magical world of fairytales, myths and legends in this mystical backpacking and outdoor adventure program. This week will be guided by all things "fantasy" as we cast spells, concoct potions, identify edible plants, search for fantastic beasts and more. We'll spend our week at High Camp Hut, nestled under the shadow of Sheep Mountain, for a week of exploration, storytelling and imagination. Accessed by a short trek into the backcountry, students will live in a massive mountain lodge that is fully equipped with a kitchen, lounging areas, wood burning stoves and cozy sleeping quarters! This immersive week-long adventure of high-alpine off-the-grid living, will include workshops on safe mountain travel, watershed education and interactive team building initiatives, while also incorporating themes of magic, enchantment and fairytales. We will also leave plenty of room for massive backcountry meals, raging bonfires, and warm soaks in the outdoor wood-burning hot tub! Be sure to bring your favorite fictional story and a great deal of curiosity... witches and wizards, unite!
