The Academy’s popular Farm to Table program is returning in 2020 with the famed Tomten Farm, Gunnison River Farm and a handful of local celebrity chefs and personalities! During Farm to Tables’s first week students will visit local commercial kitchens for a hands-on culinary experience, visit a working farm to harvest fresh ingredients, and spend time participating in fun foodie-team-challenges that will put your cooking skills (or lack thereof) to the test! Our second week will be an immersive double overnight experience at Gunnison River Farm harvesting fresh veggies, preparing sample meals and enjoying life on the farm. This magnificent working orchard and farm will play host to our adventure into the world of fresh food and culinary creations. Our grand finale will be a “Harvest Dinner” prepared by our young emerging chefs!

Weekly Program Schedule:

Week 1: Monday-Thursday, overnight on Wednesday night

Week 2: Monday- Thursday, double overnight starting Tuesday
