The Telluride Academy and Mountain Trip are collaborating to provide local students with an opportunity to learn how to ice climb. This trip will be a full day adventure in Bear Creek. This is a unique opportunity for students to learn a fun and engaging sport in Telluride's backyard with local, professional guides in a small-group setting (maximum of 6 kids). Students will receive specialized attention and build skills that will allow them to continue climbing well into the future. Specific ice climbing gear will be provided.
*Ice climbing is physically demanding. Student must be able to hike up Bear Creek in the winter and climb with a basic proficiency in order to enjoy this exciting new experience.
