Take yourself back…to a time when phones weren’t mobile, books were just paper and print and cameras used film! Join Academy instructor and film aficionado, Arlen Albert for two-weeks of “kickin it old-school”! Students will be provided 35mm cameras, ample rolls of film and given instruction and creative freedom to explore and express the world around them through black and white photography. Days will be spent out in nature, in urban environments and with eccentric individuals all in an effort to tell a unique story in pictures. Arlen and a collection of special guest photographers will share their passion for this unique (and disappearing) art form. Students will also learn the science behind developing film with sessions in their own personal dark room. Old-School Rollers will share their adventure and work with family and friends during an art gallery presentation on their final day! Make every "shudder click" count with the Old School Rollers!
