Packraft: a small, portable inflatable boat designed for use in all bodies of water, including technical whitewater and ocean bays and fjords. A packraft is designed to be light enough to be carried for extended distances. It is designed to be light and compact enough for an individual to negotiate rough terrain while carrying the rafting equipment together with supplies, shelter, and other survival or backcountry equipment.

The Town of Telluride is surrounded by majestic and stunning peaks and high alpine lakes. In Packrafters, you will attempt to stand atop these mountain vistas and gaze far out across the San Juan mountain range. After an introductory local hike, we will pack up our backpacks and hike into an alpine wilderness for a double overnight and two nights of high alpine living, paddling and exploring! We will set up our backcountry base camp below towering peaks, dine on creative backcountry cuisine, take the polar plunge and paddle turquoise waters. No backpacking experience needed, just a desire to challenge yourself and discover new heights!
