Did you know that there are over one billion trillion stars in the universe? Though it’s not possible for us to see all those stars at once, it is known that the closest we’ll ever get is when stargazing in an International Dark Sky Zone. During this program, we’ll travel down to the designated International Dark Sky Communities of Flagstaff and Sedona, Arizona to learn about the stars, space and the importance of preserving our night sky. We’ll visit the Lowell Observatory to view the sun through solar telescopes, view the planets in an interactive omniglobe, study the stars through advanced viewing systems and participate in a constellation tour. Then, it’s off to Sedona where we’ll search for hidden vortexes, splash around in Slick Rock State Park and question all reality on a famous UFO expedition. You’ll leave this program perplexed and in awe of the brilliant galaxies in our universe, and ready to seek out more inspiring and wondrous dark-sky adventures!
