Watershed Water Bugs

Ages: 6 - 7

Dates:  July 23 - August 2

Tuition: $980
Overnights: 0

Challenge Level:

Are you curious about the fascinating creatures that live in and around our lakes, rivers, and ponds?  Are you a water bug that needs more pool time? Then Watershed Waterbugs is your ticket to an H20 adventure that combines swimming lessons with science exploration! We’ll spend a part of each day in the water, becoming more comfortable as we learn to float, kick, blow bubbles and paddle in local pools. When we’re not splashing and learning the basics of swimming, the water bugs will take to the lakes, ponds and rivers; wading through the high alpine habitats we encounter. We'll spend part of each day with a specialist from the Watershed Education Project for an expert's take on our wonderful waterways. We will spy on busy beavers and search for aquatic creatures big and small. We'll collect all kinds of creatures to examine their water bug super powers. H2O is our element and in this two-week camp we'll splash our way through creeks, have boat races and paddle and kick our way to becoming expert water bug warriors!
