Telluride Academy’s “Way of the Wolf” program has been a popular, longtime tradition here… so we decided to step it up a notch in 2020! We welcome our wildlife lovers on this NEW “Wyoming Wild” program to search for wildlife in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. This 12-day program will take us on an epic road trip in search for bears, wolves, moose, bison, bald eagles and more. We’ll start our adventure with a journey to Grand Tetons National Park, where we’ll explore trails with sweeping views, go horseback riding through expansive meadows and participate in a wildlife safari tour at dusk. Then, we’ll pack up and head to Yellowstone National Park where we’ll explore massive geysers, visit the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, go on a wolf watching tour and even whitewater raft on the Yellowstone River. We’ll celebrate an awesome trip with a final day of hiking before heading back home. Many of the animals we are looking for tend to be quiet, stealthy and elusive… but we’re partnering with some of Wyoming’s most knowledgeable outfitters for a chance to see these majestic creatures up close and personal.
